Plays of light created by the engravings that characterize these etched glass lamps by Emmanuel Babled. The milky glass layer, where etched, reveals the glass beneath and allows a warm, welcoming light to shine through, emanating from the inner diffuser, which is also expertly hand etched. These nicks, are inspired by fine silk yarns, composing textiles from exotic and distant eras. Stratis, with its horizontal engravings is offered in a numbered edition by year, Vestis in a limited edition of 8 by color.
