In the Pyros Notturni series, the deep colour of the body, together with the almost colourless neck, receive dozens of bright opaque Red Coral glass applications, a traditional colour used by VENINI. They are overlapped with bright transparent colours, which remain partially absorbed by the dark background, enhancing the effect of a nocturnal version of Pyros.
The Pyros Marini series consists of countless irregular air bubbles (“pulegoso”), making the whole body of the glass create a diffusion of effervescence. The bold colours used recall the same tonality of the bright and vibrant colour applications. These characteristics generate a sophisticated harmony on the entire object.
In the Pyros Stellati series, the use of silver leaves creates the original preciousness of the application. The clear colour of the body supports the calm, dark colours of the applications, contrasted with silver leaves. The use of precious metal gives an expression of elegant sobriety.
