Nodus & Tessela

2024

Like elaborate baskets, woven by the skilled hands of ancient artisans from ages past, Nodus and Tessela are an imperfect weaving made of glassy fibrils. The optical illusion, the result of the long and complex workmanship, creates the three-dimensionality of these elaborate and elegant lamps, which blend craftsmanship knowledge and contemporary design. This balanced intrinsic dualism is enhanced by the light propagated by the diffuser, which invites the viewer to come closer and admire the incredible knotting of glass forged by the masters in the furnace. Every detail, every knot of glass, tells a story of passion and creativity, making these lamps not just sources of light, but true works of art that transport the observer on a journey between past and present.

Made of handblown glass with Venini.
