Vitro comes from the idea of creating a light to enhance the characteristics and brilliance of objects made from glass. This initial idea led to a new technological challenge — using the most evolved plastic polymers available today to produce a light capable of conveying the same “magic” as cut glass, a material that makes objects extremely beautiful and intriguing regardless of their function.
Designers and architects thus created a multipurpose light, with super-resistant product architecture, having all the requisites of strength and comfort not possible with glass.
Vitro is made from three injection-moulded pieces in self-supporting, self-extinguishing techno polymers. The body enables very quick installation to whatever support the user chooses. The internal part is moulded in a material with a very high light diffusion coefficient to guarantee visual comfort and recreate the shape and colour of a traditional halogen light source. In both the super-clear and metallic versions, the lens copies and enhances the cut glass effect. The LED technology works on direct mains voltage and can be regulated.
It can be wall or ceiling mounted and the version with cable and plug can also be placed on a surface or floor. Suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.
